Heartsaver Pediatric CPR/AED & First Aid
This session is sponsored by the Capital Area Chapter of PennAEYC. The Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid CPR AED course is designed to meet the regulatory requirements for childcare workers in all 50 United States. It teaches childcare providers and others to respond to and manage illnesses and injuries in a child or infant in the first few minutes until professional help arrives. It covers the four steps of first aid and first aid skills such as finding the problem, stopping bleeding, bandaging and using an Epinephrine pen, as well as child CPR AED, infant CPR and optional modules in adult CPR AED, child mask, infant mask and Asthma Care Training for Child Care Providers. All ticket purchases are final. No refunds will be granted.

Join us for a day full of networking, learning, and FUN! We are excited to be offering a variety of new workshops this year and are looking forward to sharing the day with YOU. We are happy to announce Lisa Murray as our keynote speaker. In her inspiring session on emotional intelligence, Lisa will spark discussion on this important topic and leave you feeling energized about how you can make a positive impact on the development of emotional intelligence in the young lives you interact with daily.
Six DHS and PA Key professional development hours will be awarded. Pennsylvania Department of Education ACT 48 credits will be awarded thanks to ECETA.

Click on the box labeled “PD Registry Login” from the home page, then click on “Login” at the top right hand corner, then click “Create Account." AM, PM Selections
If you are a director registering numerous people in one order, we recommend gathering everyone’s information ahead of time before you sit down to register. There is a time limit to complete the registration process.
You can register everyone at the same time, but there is no group rate. You, as the ticket buyer, will select each ticket type and quantity of each, then enter each individual’s information and pay for everyone in one transaction.
